Fighting Against Fate Chapter One

It was a normal morning. I woke up from my slumber and put on my turban, sliding into my shoes. My hair was a mess underneath my turban but I didn't care. Mr. Chair and Jennifer were cuddled up together and Piggeh was laying a fire. "Idiot." I mumbled as I kicked him awake. "Huh?" he woke up with a startle. The amber flicked on his arm. "What part of the castle will you be waiting for Pewdie?" I asked seriously. "I was just going to stay in the fire to warm up." He smirked at me. "Then I will be in the opposite end of the castle." I said and walked away. I stopped and glanced at Jennifer and Mr. Chair. He hadn't even went into chair mode so she could be comfortable. I smiled then realized what I was thinking.

Smacking myself, I began walking again, hoping I wouldn't encounter the bro until I had to. I shut the door and sharpened my sword as I walked. Pewdie always came to the part of the castle that had the dungeons, so I would go there and try to be obvious. I knew he'd be looking for me and screaming my name if he didn't. He's such an idiot and when he screamed barrels it scared the shit out of me.

But today, something was different. The atmosphere was lighter, but not in a good way. I shrugged mentally and sharpened my sword again. I noticed part of the wall was missing. "What?" I asked out loud and walked over to it. I tried to touch it but my golden hand started to turn white. The whiteness ran up my arm and I pulled away. The golden color of my arm was back. I stood in shock as I put my hand in the whiteness and pulled it out.

"What are you doing?" a voice said behind me. I jumped, dropping my blade it the ground. I turned behind me, hot with fury. Piggeh stood with a gaped mouth. "What the hell is that?" he asked and walked over. I picked up my blade and held it under his chin. "Don't touch it or I WILL hurt a hair on your chiny chin chin." Piggeh laughed and held his belly, then stopped abruptly. "Hilarious." I pulled the blade away. "Do you know what it is?" he asked and poked at the whiteness. His hand turned white and he jumped away, his hand returned to it's original color. "No way! This is awesome! I wonder if Pewdie knows what it is?" he said with joy. I rolled my eyes, "If I don't know what it is, he doesn't. I'm smarter than him." I said proudly. Piggeh laughed again, I punched him in his ribs that were showing. "Look. It doesn't seem dangerous and it's just there. I'm sure it's harmless." I said, unsure. "Harmless? You don't even know what it is." Piggeh crossed his arms. "well there isn't anything we could do to stop it. It just makes you lose your color."I shrugged my shoulders and moved away from the whiteness. "Your not worried about what it could do? What if it got bigger Stephano? What would we do if we just lost more than our color?" Piggeh said dramatically. "Then we'd die. Simple as that." I said confidently.
